the Perhaps Excessively Lake-Shaped Reading and Picnic

Dear Friends,

Announcing the Perhaps Excessively Lake-Shaped Reading and Picnic, the very first outdoor occurrence of the _______-Shaped Series. We invite you to join us this Saturday at Wingra Park (at the bottom of Knickerbocker St. off Monroe St.) at 5pm for an early evening of Poetry and talk and potluck snacking featuring 4 poets residing in Madison:

Jeannie Bergmann
Ron Czerwien
Andrew Hill
Lewis Freedman

and the possibility of surprise reading guests.

We hope this will be a further opportunity for poets in Madison to meet and hang out in idyllic environs. Bring everyone you like, and–if you want and can–bring food or drink to share.

If you have trouble finding us, call Lewis at 413-588-8469. If it pours rain, we’ll reschedule. If predictions are for terrible weather, we’ll send a last-minute email.

Hoping to see you there,

Andy & Lewis
